L’Étape ECUADOR is the only official Tour de France event in Ecuador and one of the toughest of L’Étape events held outside France. L’Étape ECUADOR by Tour de France provides amateur riders with the closest experience to riding a mountainous stage of the Tour de France.
Run on fully closed roads, over a beautiful and varied course with a challenging climb, L’Étape Ecuador is run under full Tour de France professional conditions and with world-class mechanical support. L’Étape is Ecuador's most competitive event for amateur riders, while also providing a safe and enjoyable traffic-free riding environment for those who are not so competitive, but just want to have fun and complete the magical course.
With theree distances (recreativa 40km – medio fondo 80km – fondo 150km), L’Étape Ecuador is accessible to all amateur cyclists, as you don't need to ride like Tour de France heroes to manage to reach the finish line.
